"Boom Boom" Mancini
and Bob Connolly
Talk about legends of
railroading. Here are two of the best. Conductors Bobby "Boom
Boom" Mancini (now retired and residing on Federal Hill in
Providence) and Bob Connolly. "Boom Boom" was and still is
fondly remembered for his antics, including leaving his restaurant
on Federal Hill in the middle of the day wearing pants covered with
flour from the pizza dough to conduct a train to NY.
