Railroad Photo Album - Page Fifty Three

Posted  February 14, 2003

These are two of my favorite photos. Perfect examples of what happens when you get two "camera shy" railroaders together.

It's a balmy Saturday afternoon in the summer of 1989 at Springfield, Massachusetts as Train #647 (enroute to Hartford, New Haven, NY City and Washington DC)  lays over, waiting for southbound passengers.

Conductor Chris "Foxy" Fox and saluting LSA Joanne Armstrong take a moment to ham it up.

Joanne salutes again as "Foxy" stares in deep thought.
