These are two of my favorite photos. Perfect examples of
what happens when you get two "camera shy" railroaders together.
It's a balmy Saturday afternoon in the summer of 1989 at Springfield,
Massachusetts as Train #647 (enroute to Hartford, New Haven, NY City and
Washington DC) lays over, waiting for southbound passengers.
