Yardmaster Bobby Howe. 
Bob used to refer to me as the "guest" Conductor. Reason being, he claimed that we weren't really employees of Amtrak, we were "guests." His logic turned out to be 100% right. 

EP-3 Locomotive on the lead of an "all heavy weight" Pullman New York bound liner.

This photo was taken shortly before WW2 and appeared on the cover of "Along The Line." The magazine published by the New Haven Railroad for its' employees.
